North Elementary
This Chapel Hill, NC band is a musical collective that orbits around the songs of John Harrison--emphasizing dynamics that range from whisper quiet static, to wave upon wave of swirling sounds and billowy clouds of distortion. Sonically riveting.

Nathan Oliver
Previously a recording project by UNC-Chapel Hill student Nathan White, that eventually morphed into a band with Pox co-founder Mark Lebetkin. Nathan Oliver is the result of years of bedroom songwriting, and has been labeled as nervy, manic, bewitching, and punchy.

Torch Marauder
A cult favorite. From Durham, NC mostly. Some people have trouble seeing past the blue face paint and the cape, but the Torch Marauder writes some wonderful songs. The newest release, Triceratops/Can I Get A Lift?, illustrates that perfectly. The Torch Marauder now performs with the band Grappling Hook.
