The much-anticipated followup to the successful Compulation Volume One will be released on Tuesday, 15 November 2005. Like Volume One, this compilation features a sampling of some, but not all, of the great music happening in North Carolina at this moment, including exclusive new material from Work Clothes, Art Lord & the Self Portraits, Audubon Park, Bellafea, Pyramid, Manband, Citified, People Under the Bridge, David Karsten Daniels, The Moaners, Evil Wiener, Autopassion, Shark Quest, Summer Set, Hotel Motel, Tricky the Cosmonaut, Fashion Design, Erie Choir, Spader, Finks, The Kingsbury Manx, and The Torch Marauder.
Unlike Volume One, Volume Two represents much more than the Triangle area's music scene. This time around, we have bands from Wilmington, Greenville, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Charlotte, and Asheville. There will likewise be six release parties, in six different cities.
The artwork this time around is by John Blackburn from Winston-Salem, whose band, Finks, also has a song on the record.
Our goal is again to celebrate what we've got and to share it with the rest of the world.
